The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) plans to solicit and award a sole source Requirements type contract in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 16.503 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to ITT Visual Information Solutions, 4990 Pearl E. Circle, Boulder, CO 80301-2530. ITT Visual Information Solutions is the sole source for the ENVI software products that are developed and sold by ITT in North America. ITT uses no resellers or agents in the US or Canada for ENVI software product(s). Brand Name Justification: ENVI is the premier application for the exploitation of Multi-Spectral and Hyper-Spectral Imagery, which is already in use in NGA.   These licenses will enhance the current pool of floating licenses with the full range of ENVI modules. ENVI is a proprietary package produced by ITT VIS. ITT VIS is the only source for the maintenance on ENVI licenses. The Requirements contract will be for software licenses for the ENVI Remote Sensing Exploitation Platform, the EDL Data Visualization and Analysis Platform, IAS Imagery Access Solutions and ION IDL. Proposed Requirements contract will be a license agreement with a term from date of award to 30 June 2013.  Any interested responsible sources may submit inquiries to [email protected].
