The Government intends to procure Energy Management Handbook, 7th Edition. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This synopsis is being published for informational purposes only. The proposed source is Fairmont Press, Inc. The proposed action is to acquire Energy Management Handbook, 7th Edition, quantity 40. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the Air Force. The Government will consider any quotations received within 3 days of issuance notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement, and the Government does not intend to pay for any information received in response to this announcement.
