This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M33610-12-T-0010 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This RFQ and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-60 and Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) current to DPN 20120724

This is a total small business set aside. The NAICS code is: 451211 (Book Stores), and the Small Business Size Standard is: $25.5 million.

The Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center (MCMWTC), Bridgeport, CA has a requirement for the following books:

This is a Brand Name RFQ as this specific books are required to meet course curriculum learning objectives. No substitutes will be accepted. F.O.B. shall be Destination. Delivery address is:

A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) described in FAR Part 13 to the contractor whose quote represents the best value to the Government. This determination will be made using the following factors: Price, Technical, and Delivery.

Contractors are required to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with their quotes.

Quotes must be submitted via email to Staff Sergeant Pena at [email protected]. To be considered for award, contractors must submit quotes to ensure they reach destination by no later than 12:00 p.m. PST 28 Aug 2012. Quotes received after the due date and time will not be considered for award.
