EMSL Integration 2013

EMSL's annual user meeting - EMSL Integration 2013 - has been scheduled for Aug. 6 and 7 in Richland. This year, we're excited to focus on the Rhizosphere and its relation to carbon cycling and terrestrial ecosystems. We have a strong lineup of speakers, starting with keynote presenter Dr. Steven Strauss, director of the Tree Biosafety and Genomics Research Cooperative at Oregon State University. Plenary speakers are expected from Cornell University, Argonne National Laboratory, the Joint Genome Institute and the Vienna University of Technology.

The meeting is open to all members of the scientific community, including past and current users and interested researchers. The meeting also will feature workshops on its second day related to x-ray tomography, mass spectrometry, laser ablation, and cell isolation and systems analysis.
 
Registration will open in mid-May.
