The NRC intends to award a sole source contract for an electronic subscription to Elsevier's Science Direct on-line journals.  The purpose of this contract is to provide access to Elsevier's Science Direct on-line information to support the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (USNRC)  regulatory and licensing mission.   The on-line journals will be used by scientific and technical staff to research critical information in support of the agency's mission.
