This notice announces the intent by the U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis IAW FAR Part 13.501(a). The proposed source is Quidel, 12544 High Bluff Drive, Suite 200, San Diego, CA 92130. U.S. Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine (USARIEM) requests the purchase of MicroVue bone alkaline phosphatase (BAP) and tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase isoform 5b (TRAcP 5b) enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kits. ELISA kits must be 96-well capability and compatible with human serum.

Vendor shall be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller for the proposed equipment/system such that OEM warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All software licensing, warranty and service associated with the equipment/system shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions. There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334516. with a Small Business Size Standard of 1000 employees.
