(NAWCADLKE) intends to award a competitive Cost Plus Fixed Fee order

for shipboard removal and installation services:

The Alteration Installation Team (AIT) Contractor shall provide qualified personnel to perform shipboard alterations for removal and installation services for NAVAIR EMALS.  The AIT Contractor shall provide qualified personnel to witness the System Functional Demonstration (SFD) Land-Based Test Site installation by the Government team to help them understand the shipboard installation effort.  Installations shall be accomplished during the following availabilities:

The procurement will be competed amongst Alteration Installation Team

(AIT) Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) holders (N68335-19-G-0003,

N68335-19-G-0004, N68335-19-G-0005, N68335-19-G-0006, N68335-19-G-

0007, N68335-19-G-0008, N68335-19-G-0009, N68335-19-G-0010, N68335-

19-G-0011, N68335-19-G-0012). The BOAs were issued under solicitation

N68335-18-R-0024 on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps)

website. The requirement will be for material and services including

work in the following areas: Quality Assurance (QA), System Removal,

Packaging and Shipping, Debris/Hazardous Material Disposition,

Structural Work, Welding, Non-Destructive Testing, Electrical/Electronics,

Piping/Plumbing, Fire Watch, Painting and Pre-Installation Checkout.

Only current AIT BOA holders will be able to compete for this requirement. All responsible

small business sources, who have not currently submitted for an AIT BOA

or who do not currently hold an AIT BOA, are encouraged to submit a

capability statement in response to this announcement, and in

accordance with Solicitation N68335-18-R-0024, if they would like to
