This amendment is issued to incorporate the following:
ELECTRIFIED POWERTRAIN FLIGHT DEMONSTRATION
NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center (NASA/AFRC) intends to solicit and award one or more contracts for the “Electrified Powertrain Flight Demonstration” project and to secure the services required to support NASA in investigating the utilization of flight demonstrations to rapidly mature Electrified aircraft propulsion (EAP) technologies and associated EAP-based vision systems for introduction into the US fleet no later than 2035. The objective of this requirement is to assist NASA Aeronautics Level Goals to accelerate the introduction of Megawatt (MW) class EAP systems into future aircraft products by U.S. industry; to identify certification gaps, and address gaps through ground test and flight tests. The Government requires Government purpose rights to all deliverables submitted under this requirement. The Government’s right to other data under this requirement shall be proposed by Offeror. This requirement is limited to Domestic sources. Proposals from foreign sources will not be accepted
Offerors shall submit their proposals electronically to the Contracting Officer James G. Williams no later than: 2:00 pm Pacific Time, 11 May 2021. Only electronic submitted proposals will be accepted. See Amendment P00003 for submittal instructions.
Potential Offerors should monitor the beta.Sam.gov website for any amendments to the RFP.
