The ESES III contract was awarded to Science Systems and Applications, Inc. (SSAI) of Greenbelt, Maryland. ESES III is a cost-plus-award-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a maximum ordering value of $493 million. The period of performance starts on the contract's effective date of December 10, 2018 through December 9, 2023. Under this contract, SSAI will provide electrical/electronic engineering support services and related work to the Engineering and Technology Directorate at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. The work includes the study, design, development, fabrication, integration, testing, verification and operations of spaceflight, airborne and ground system hardware and software, including development and validation of new technologies to enable future space and science missions.
