The Orange County Fire Authority is requesting bids to establish a construction agreement for electrical improvements to the Drill Grounds at RFOTC, as specified herein. Project work will be coordinated by the OCFA Property Management section. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: • Meet Minimum Qualifications • Attendance at Job Walk on September 3, 2020 • Contractors’ License: A, B, and/or specialty, as required by CA state law • Registration with the California Department of Industrial Relations • Bid Bond - 10% of Bid Amount (All Bidders) • Faithful Performance Bond – 100% of Agreement Price (Awarded Contractor Only) • Payment Bond – 100% of Agreement Price (Awarded Contractor Only) BID SUBMITTALS: • Bids will be received no later than 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 10, 2020 • Only paper bids will be accepted for this solicitation • Bids may be hand delivered or mailed to Orange County Fire Authority, Purchasing Department, 1 Fire OCFA Road, Building C, Irvine, CA 92602 no later than the date and time specified. • One (1) original hard copy and one (1) duplicate hard copy shall be sent to the attention of the Purchasing Section, within said time limit, in a sealed envelope. • The envelope should include the Bidder’s Business Name, Solicitation Number, and the Due Date. DUE TO COVID-19 ATTENDEES WILL BE REQUIRED TO UNDERGO A HEALTH SCREENING UPON ARRIVAL, MUST PROVIDE AND WEAR FACE MASKS, AND PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING WHEN ON SITE
