This is a Sources Sought Notice. This is NOT a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5. The 96th Contracting Squadron is seeking to identify sources that can provide an Exclusive Use helicopter to provide support for prescribed burning as well as other activities. This sources sought is to determine the capability of potential sources and the availability of commercial sources. This notice is for informational purposes only and does not constitute an Invitation for Bid or Request for Proposal, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 481219, with small business standard size of $7M. Responses to this notice must be received within 5 days from date of notice publication. The Government will not award a contract solely on the basis of this Sources Sought Notice, nor will it reimburse the contractor for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. A requirement exists for an Exclusive Use helicopter to provide support for prescribed burning as well as other activities. Contractors shall be required to fully operate the aircraft, supply qualified personnel, and equip the aircraft to meet specifications for use in administration of prescribed burning.
