AMENDMENT TO ANNOUNCEMENT

The Department of the Air Force is seeking qualified entities for a long term ground lease involving a 17.1 acre underutilized asset near Egliin AFB.  The objective is to develop the 17.1 acre asset.  Residential uses, with the exception of age restricted housing are prohibited.  All other prohibited uses are outlined in Appendix L of AFRPA's EUL Handbook. The preferred use of the parcel is a hotel/resort development that may provide services to a combination of active duty and reserve military service members, their guests, and general public.  The Air Force is looking to the development community to determine a means of satisfying the preferred use and maximizing value to the Air Force.  Developers are encouraged to consider all opportunities that provide a direct benefit to military personnel and that are not explicitly prohibited.  Qualification submittals are due 28 May 2008 to the attention of:  [email protected].  Additional information can found at www.jllpress.com<outbind://48/www.jllpress.com>.
