SOLE SOURCE ANNOUNCEMENT

1. Introduction

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District intends to award a sole source contract to Echo81, LLC, 7608 Stirling Bridge Blvd N., Delray Beach, FL 33446

2. Description of Services
The overall objective is to provide work that includes the performance of a system diagnostic on the Edgetech 4125. The contractor shall inspect and replace the top main assembly, the acquisition interface board, and ducer side scan RX-SP 400-859 KHZ 4125.

3. Authority

10 USC 2304(c) (1) or 41 USC 253(c) (1); FAR 6.302-1: Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements

4. Reason for Sole Source

Edgetech 4125 can only be serviced and repaired by a dealer that has been trained by Edgetech to work on equipment that possesses Edgetech technology, has legal rights to work on equipment that possesses Edgetech technology, and has legal access to Edgetech OEM parts. Edgetech has provided a letter stating that Echo81, LLC is the "sole authorized service repair center for Edgetech products in the United States".

5. No solicitation package will be issued. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The Government will consider responses received by 12:00 PM Eastern Time on May 26, 2018. Inquiries will only be accepted via email to [email protected]. No telephone requests will be honored.

A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
