The USDA-ARS, PWA Parlier, CA has a requirement for an Eddy Covariance system.  The type of system will be an Extended Open Path Eddy Covariance system (Extended OPEC system).  The system will be used for a bioenergy crops for liquid jet fuels project.

The sytem will be used to report measurements of carbon dioxide and water vapor flux, along with energy balance measurements. 

The equipment will be mounted on 30 ft extending towers above sugar cane fields.  The proposed towers are Aluma tower company brand T-125 standard duty aluminum towers.

required equipment will consist of gas analyzers, barometers, power cables temperature probes, solar radiation shields, radiometers.
