The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) at Patuxent River, MD intends to solicit a sole source FFP order under N00019-16-G-0001 Basic Ordering Agreement, with The Boeing Company (TBC).  The contractor shall provide drawing updates, IETM/Technical Publications, and provisioning for the Combined Interrogator Transponder (CIT) Antenna under Engineering Change Proposal ECP-MDC-F/A-18-0520R3, into F/A-18 Aircraft for Kuwait.  The projected contract action is for supplies and/or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1. No solicitation document exists. Boeing is the designer, developer, manufacturer, and integrator of the F/A-18 and EA-18G aircraft in its various configurations; and as such, is the only known firm with the knowledge, experience, and technical expertise required to accomplish this effort.
