The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) at Patuxent River, MD announces its intention to procure non-recurring and recurring effort for A1 Kits, ECP development, and logistics data in support of Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) 639. This ECP is in support of USMC APG-73/APG-79(V)4 replacement radar for the F/A-18C/D. NAVAIR intends to negotiate the effort as a sole source order on a Basic Ordering Agreement with The Boeing Company, St. Louis, MO. Award will be made with authority under FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy requirements. For this requirement, The Boeing Company has the knowledge, experience, technical data, and information systems required to fulfill this requirement within the time required. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit technical information and technical capability statement in response to this notice. Responses without a return address, mailing address, and company telephone number will not be recognized. No phone calls will be accepted. Proprietary data in the responses will be protected where so designated. A determination not to compete this proposed effort based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
