The Naval Air Systems Command intends to place a sole-source firm fixed price order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-16-G-0001 with The Boeing Company (Boeing) of St. Louis, Missouri 63166, for the procurement of ECP-MDC-F/A-18-06389 Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) for Incorporation of AN/ALQ-214(V)4 and AN/ALQ-214(V)5. The planned contract action will have a FY16 base and FY17 option CLINs for up to 96 kits and an FY18 option for up to 46 kits for F/A-18E/F aircraft.

Projected period of performance is January 2017 through December 2019.  Boeing is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and integrator of the F/A-18A-F aircraft in its various configurations and is the only source with the knowledge, expertise, facilities, and qualified personnel necessary to accomplish this effort.  Any interested party must have the knowledge, expertise, facilities, and qualified personnel necessary accomplish this effort within schedule requirements.  Any respondent must also submit a Statement of Qualifications to demonstrate respondent's ability to perform to the Government's needs within the required response time.  This synopsis is for informational purposes only.
