The Naval Air Systems Command intends to place a sole-source Firm Fixed Price (FFP) order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-11-G-0001 with The Boeing Company of St. Louis, Missouri, 63166, for Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) 6343 External Fuel Tank Pressure Regulator. The Navy will be procuring approximately 600 retrofit kits and installation of those kits on F/A-18 A-G aircraft. This effort will be procured on a sole source basis. The projected period of performance for this effort is 20 months after contract award. Boeing is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and integrator of the F/A-18E/F and EA-18G aircraft in its various configurations and is the only source with the knowledge, expertise, tools, processes, facilities, and qualified personnel necessary to accomplish this effort within the projected timeline.
