This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.


The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) is a United States government-owned corporation created in 2004, whose mission is to provide grant assistance to support economic growth and poverty reduction in select developing countries with a demonstrated commitment to just and democratic governance, economic (Compact) with MCC that includes a plan for achieving shared development objectives and the responsibilities of each country in achieving those objects. The Economic Analysis (EA) Division of MCC's Department of Policy & Evaluation (DPE) is seeking a full-time Personal Services Contractor (PSC) to serve as an Economics Officer. An Economics Officer must possess expertise in the field of economics and knowledge of the economic analysis of development projects, cost-benefit analysis, and growth diagnostics. The PSC will work in collaboration with MCC economists and technical specialists under the direction of MCC's senior managers for Economic Analysis. The PSC also will work as a member of the DPE team and MCC country teams in cooperation with other MCC staff.
