The Bureau of Indian Education intends to award sole source firm fixed price purchase order to EBSCO Industries, Inc., under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. It has been determined that EBSCO databases, it is imperative that database subscriptions be renewed annually to insure a continuation of uninterrupted delivery services. The availability of resources is extremely valuable to an academic library as it supports academic programs on Haskell campus. Haskell Library has used EBSCO for over 36 years and has been satisfied with outstanding services they provide. EBSCO database subscription package is currently being used by students. If it is not renewed, it will no longer be available for students to access and would be removed from the Library Resources. The purpose of this procurement is to award based on a sole source requirement, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This notice is not a request for competitive quotations. A solicitation will not be available for this requirement. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only. However, interested parties may submit a description of their firm’s capabilities for satisfying this requirement, which demonstrates they possess the ability to successfully perform this effort.
