The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU), located in Bethesda, MD ,has a requirement for a one time purchase of Thieme Clinical Ebook Collection.  The subscriptions are required for medical students, faculty, researchers and staff.  This is a combined synopsis/solicitation posted in accordance with FAR Part 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.    This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested.  This is a request for quotes (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Part 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures.  This RFQ incorporates all provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-53 (Effective date August 4, 2011). 

The applicable NAICS code is 511120-Periodical Publishers. 

Please see the attached PDF list of Ebook collections. The resultant award will be a single award firm fixed price (FFP) order.  Award will be made based on lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA).

It is the responsibility of the offeror to monitor FedBizOpps for any amendments to the solicitation.
