CITY OF REDMONDEASTSIDE ARTERIAL PROJECT EXEMPTION FROM COMPETITVE BIDDING NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGNotice is hereby given that the Redmond City Council will hold a public hearing on October 24, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Redmond City Hall, 411 SW 9th Street, Redmond, Oregon. In accordance with Oregon Revised Statute 279C.335, the purpose of the hearing is to receive comments on the City's draft findings prepared in support of a request for an exemption from the competitive bidding requirements. If approved, the City will be authorized to utilize the Progressive Design-Build contracting method as an exemption from low bid for construction of the Eastside Arterial project. Interested persons are encouraged to comment through one of the following options: · WRITTEN COMMENTS: Submit to Jessica MacClanahan, Public Works Director / City Engineer, via email at [email protected] or mail to City of Redmond Engineering Department, 243 E Antler Avenue, Redmond, OR 97756 on or before October 24, 2023, at 12:00 p.m.; or · ORAL COMMENTS: Oral comments can be provided in-person or virtually. For those who plan to attend virtually and want to provide oral comments during the hearing, pre-register at [email protected] (must pre-register before 4:00 p.m. on October 24, 2023). Prior to the hearing, virtual registrants will be provided with a Zoom link from City Administration so they can join the meeting by phone to participate and provide testimony.
