The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Global Alliance For Rabies Control, 529 Humboldt St, Suite 1 Manhattan, KS 66502-6073. The purpose of this acquisition is to provide support for planning, logistics, and facilitation of workshops for the stepwise approach to rabies elimination (SARE), rabies education platform, and for regional rabies control planning in Africa. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541940 - Veterinary Services.

This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive quotations. No solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunity website. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements for the SARE may submit their capability/qualifications and other supporting information to Priscilla Turner at [email protected] on or before Monday, February 6, 2017 at 10am Eastern Time. All information received on or before Monday, February 6, 2017 at 10am Eastern Time of this notice will be considered by the Government to determine if the more than one firm can meet the Government's requirements and is capable of providing technically acceptable services. A determination not to compete the described requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Federal Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
