Reroof building and stabilize the structure Project Description: The scope of this project is to reroof and stabilize the Calf Barn. The wood-framed structure is approximately 3,400 square feet, consisting of the main barn with loft, two wings and two concrete silos. The wood structure sits on a high concrete foundation wall and has a gable framed, wood shingled roof with venting cupolas. The project will include but not be limited to: cleaning of debris, structural repairs to roof framing members, other urgent structural repairs, spaced sheathing repair/replacement, wood shingle reroof, minor asbestos abatement, concrete repair to silos, select siding repair, and door/window repairs to secure the structure from vandals and allow maintenance access. Construction of temporary bracing may be required. Protection of the existing building, finishes, and surrounding areas is required. The Design-Builder will need to coordinate work and site activities as needed to support Owner managed activities such as large park events. The area is popular for dog walking and photography shoots. The building itself is unoccupied and will be fully available to the Design- Builder.
