The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) intends to contract with Hyatt Regency Atlanta, Atlanta, GA, for conference space, facilities, and audio-visual services for approximately 155 attendees at the USPTOâs Chinaâs Impact on Intellectual Property: Understanding the New Realities within a Global Economy Conference, scheduled to take place March 2 - 3, 2006. The USPTO is conducting this acquisition under âother than full and open competitionâ procedures under the Statutory authority 41 USC 253 (c)(1) â Only one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy the agencyâs requirements. The USPTO finds that Hyatt Regency Atlanta is the only responsible source to satisfy the USPTOâs requirements. This synopsis is not considered a request for quotations or proposals and a solicitation will not be issued. If any hotel firm that believes it is capable of meeting the USPTOâs requirements must submit a detailed capabilities statement to include information that clearly demonstrates their ability to meet the USPTOâs needs.
