Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to exercise option one (1) under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-10-G-0004 Order 0012 to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC), Bethpage, NY for the E-2C Hawkeye Logistics and Engineering Sustainment. The period of performance for the supplies/services to be furnished under this option exercise shall be twelve (12) months from the date of contract award. The period of performance for the supplies/services to be furnished for option two (2), if exercised, shall be twelve (12) months from the date of contract award. The proposed contract action is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Northrop Grumman is the only source with the requisite knowledge, experience and technical expertise to provide the required supplies and services. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all interest and capability statements received within thirty days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement.
