The US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District is seeking sources to provide personnel, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, supervision and other items and services for the following: 1500kW Generator for Dworshak National Fish Hatchery.

Work shall include, but is not limited to the design, manufacture and delivery of a 1500kW Generator to Dworshak.

Generator shall meet the following requirements:

Generator:

1500 kW/1875kVA Standby Power Rating

1350kW/1688kVA Prime Power Rating

277/480VAC rating @ 0.8 pf

3 Phase, 60 Hz

2/3 Winding Pitch

Insulation Class H

Temperature Rise 125/130 Degree C Prime or 150 Degree C Standby

Engine:

4 cycle Diesel Powered, Turbocharged, Intercooled Complete with aftercooler, radiator, oil, batteries, alternator, water pump, all required filters and all other accessories.

24VDC Batteries Bank sized to withstand at least 6 cranking cycles.

Acoustic Enclosure designed for 90 dB or less Meets or exceeds EPA Tier 2 Emissions. Requirements Circulating block heater, generator or anti-condensation heater, enclosure heaters, lube oil heater, fuel tank heater 480VAC or 120/240VAC.

Controls/Electronics:

Include adjustable 2000A-rated circuit breaker, with shunt-trip and adjustable instantaneous, ground fault, short/long Delay, short/long pickup trip capabilities.

Electronically programmable controls, which display phase voltages, phase currents, frequency, %PF, load, run time, engine oil pressure, engine coolant temperature, battery voltage Automatic shutdown for High Coolant temperature, low coolant level, low oil pressure, over speed, over voltage, over crank Alarms/annunciation for generator running/stopped, high coolant temperature, low coolant level, low oil pressure, over speed, over voltage, over crank, low oil, low fuel, low battery voltage Three position Control Switch (ECS) with Manual Start/Stop, Off/Reset/ and Auto Start positions Provide an Emergency Stop Button Minimum 6 programmable outputs, including generator run/generator fault, generator stop, etc.

2 wire start circuit.

Enclosure:

Complete weatherproof enclosure for the engine, generator, control panel, and auxiliary systems to prevent moisture from entering these areas Corrosion proof hardware for entire enclosure and weather exposed systems.
