The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to determine interest in participation of potential qualified businesses providing services meeting an impending Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA or Authority) requirement. Firms are strongly encouraged to provide comments, questions, and suggestions relative to the project scope, methodologies and technologies, and approach. Any input that businesses or interested parties would like to provide will be reviewed and considered.

Responses shall be no more than 10 pages in addition to the standard informational or promotional literature of the submitting entity. The submission shall be clearly marked as RFI-092513.

Please provide the above information no later than 2:00 pm on October 16, 2013, via email only, to Mr. Michael Glimp at [email protected]. All questions pertaining to this RFI shall be submitted, via email, no later than October 9, 2013.

This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for informational and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Authority to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals nor will any award be made as a result of this RFI. WMATA will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this request for information.
