The Board of Trustees of Eastern Illinois University requests submission of qualifications from interested engineers to perform a DTV allocation study to increase ERP and change site parameters for WEIU TV. Work will include assistance with FCC notification, FCC tower registration and preparation of engineering report to accompany request for site move and modification of DTV application on file for WEIU. The successful design firm will consist of experienced and talented engineers knowledgeable in FCC rules, regulations, and registration. The University will use a structured process to select the consulting engineering firm. The University will begin evaluating submissions from interested design firms on March 30, 2002, with the intent to select a firm by April 12, 2002.
