This synopsis is based from the initial population of the Lighting Strategic Initiative Project.  The determined "Re-Compete 2" population resulted in 116 NSNs which are being solicited utilizing a Letter Solicitation for the Re-Compete Performance Period to the already established Indefinite Quantity Contracts (IQC) awarded against the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside SPE4A6-13-R-0338.

These items are under Federal Supply Classes 6220, 6230, 6240, 6250 and 6350 which are competitive and considered commercial items.  The NSNs will be re-competed by the awardees only of SPE4A6-13-R-0338.

The estimated issue date is 10 Jun 2016 with a response date no later than 08 Aug 2015. The final contract award decision for these NSNs will be based upon the terms in SPE4A6-13-R-0338.  Electronic (DIBBS) proposals/quotes are unacceptable.  Surge and Sustainment may be required for some of the NSNs. Excel spreadsheets for pricing, delivery and surge information (if applicable) for all the NSNs will be provided with the Letter of Solicitation to each awardee/supplier.  Proposals can to be submitted to the Bid Custodian via email at [email protected] and cc Acquisition Specialist.
