The solicitation is issued to add NSNs to current Firm Fixed Price contracts awarded under the 100% Service Disabled Veteran-Owned set aside solicitation SPE4A6-13- R-0338.  This synopsis is to notify awardees a Letter Solicitation is expected for an Add-On population of approximately 165 NSNs (attached)

 The Federal Supply Classes (FSCs) may include:

           6210- (Indoor/Outdoor Elect Lighting Fixtures)

                     - Nonresidential electric lighting fixture

          6220- (Electric Vehicle Lights, Fixtures)

                     - Vehicular lighting equipment

          6230- (Electric Portable and Hand Lighting Equipment)

                     - Other lighting equipment

          6240- (Electric Lamps)

                     - Electric lamp bulb and part

          6250- (Ballasts, Lamp Holders, Starters)

                     - Electric power and specialty transformer

          6260- (Nonelectrical Lighting Fixtures

                     - Other lighting equipment, non-electrical

          6350- (Miscellaneous Lighting Fixtures)

                     - Electric power and specialty transformer

All NSNs are considered competitive, consumable, and "commercial of a type" with an Acquisition Method Suffix Codes (AMSC) Z.  This added initiative covers DLA Direct procurements with shipments to Government supply depots located within the United States. 

The NSNs, quantities and delivery days required will be cited as an attachment of the Letter Solicitation.  Surge applies to some of the NSNs and will be identified on attachment. All items are FOB Destination with 1/A at destination.

ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SPE4A6-13- R-0338 APPLY.  The Add-On population is to be re-competed by the current awardees only. The estimated issue date is 25 Oct 2013 with a closing date of 45 days after issue date.

The solicitation will not be available via DIBBS and a paper copy of this solicitation will not be available to requestors.
