This is an announcement for noncommercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 13 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the most current Federal Acquisition Circular.
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order for DT-513E hydrophones. This is intended as a sole source award to Syqwest, Inc., CAGE Code: 33642. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 334511. The Small Business Size Standard is 1,250 employees.
The Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) structure is identified below.
CLIN 0001: Quantity of six (6) DT-513E Hydrophones in accordance with NAVSEA drawing 8322989-3.
CLIN 0002: Option for quantity of nine (9) additional DT-513E Hydrophones in accordance with NAVSEA drawing 8322989-3.
CLIN 0003: shipping charges for FOB destination.
The Government has determined that this requirement does not include Electronic and Information Technology (EIT), therefore, Section 508 requirements do not apply.
Offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/) to be eligible for award. Instructions for registration are available at the website.
The following addenda or additional terms and conditions apply: Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating is DO-C9.
The Request for Quote (RFQ) Number N66604-19-Q-2580 is released at the time of this announcement being posted will be posted for less than 30 days in accordance with FAR 5.203(b).
The closing date for receipt of quotes is July 16, 2019. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the FBO.gov website. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from the website and for monitoring the site for any amendments. Additional details will be released upon issuance of RFQ Number N66604-19-Q-2580.
