The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to award a non-competitive firm fixed price purchase order with Argotec, Inc. for Calibrated Reference Hydrophones (CRH). Argotec, Inc. is the manufacturer of existing Navy CRH sensors and has repaired and refurbished the CRH sensors for many years. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, all capabilities statements received no later than the due date of this announcement will be considered by the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a capabilities statement that will be considered by the Agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responses must be received by email at [email protected] no later than 10:00AM EST, 14 August 2013. A formal solicitation will NOT be issued since this will be a sole source procurement. This announcement constitutes the only notice of this procurement.
