NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency intends to award a sole source contract to Leica Geosystems Inc, 5051 Peachtree Corners Circle, Suite 250, Norcross, GA to upgrade the current DSW 600 Scanner to DSW 700 Scanner and associated parts and include 1 year maintenance on hardware and software. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one sole source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and the Title 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any responsible source may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation. The North American Industry Classification System code is 334511, Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing.
