The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, Contracting and Procurement Branch 1, proposes to contract the Drydock & Repairs of USCGC TERRAPIN (WPB - 87366), an 87' Patrol Boat Cutter, home moorage in Bellingham, WA. All work will be done at the Contractor's facility. This contract is geographically restricted to the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Puget Sound, WA. The performance period will be forty-four (44) calendar days with a start date on or about 19 October 2011 through 02 December 2011.

The proposed work items include but are not limited to: Mast, Preserve; Forepeak, Modify; Underwater Body, Preserve; Sea Water System, Clean, Inspect, & Repair; Hull Plating Freeboard, Preserve; Propulsion Shafts, remove, Inspect & Re-install.

On or about 01 July 2011, a Request for Quotes (RFQ) will be available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This will be a Total Small Business Set-aside procurement. Only 100% certified small business contractors may submit a proposal. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 336611 with a size standard of less than 1,000 employees.
