The Southern Research Stationââ¬â¢s Escambia Experimental Forest, located at 35 Red Branch Road, Brewton, Alabama 36426, has the need for a new potable water well to serve the Experimental Forest facilities. Contractor to drill a new potable water well and include the necessary appurtenances to include a new 30-40 gallon size pressure tank, new pressure switch, electrical service to well, piping and connect the new well to the existing water distribution system. The distance from the new well to the existing system connection will be determined by the placement of the new well, but is estimated at less than 75 feet. All work shall comply with the ADEM Admin Code R. 335-9, current dating. A site visit is scheduled for 25 Mar 2009 at 10:00 a.m. (refer to page 19 of the solicitation for specific information.) The Government's estimate range is less than $25,000. This is an emerging small business set-aside. The emerging small business size standard is $16.75 million under NAICS code 237110. Offerors must register on the site in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. The offeror is responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation and any subsequent postings.
