The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Treasury Department, intends to award a sole source order to Dow Jones for Factiva.com, which provides users with Web-based searchable access to websites, newspapers, magazines, TV, radio, testimony and transcripts. Included are more than 29,000 publications from 159 countries in 23 languages. The resulting award will be a firm fixed price purchase order. Interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 12:00 pm on October 12, 2009. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of a proposal. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responsible sources may submit a proposal. The OCC intends to award a sole source contract on October 13, 2009.
