Noise dosimeter or integrating sound level meter is a device capable of measuring sound levels with a slow meter response setting, and integrating all sound levels.

NGB has a requirement to monitor noise exposure levels by conducting an annual noise dosimetry readings which establish an 8 hr. time weighted average (TWA) for all Federal technicians who work in a noise induced environment. To meet this annual noise monitoring requirement, a purchase of 20 portable noise dosimeters is needed
