Work to be performed over Center's summer break - estimated to be June 18th, 2015 - July 6th, 2015.

 ResCare Inc., Operator of Guthrie Job Corps, is seeking bids for Fire Alarm System Upgrade in Dorm 26 at the Center located at 3106 W University, Guthrie OK. Dorm 26 is a ~50 y/o, two-story, CMU building that houses 138 students.

•1)      Provide design and construction to replace the existing building fire alarm system with a new addressable fire alarm system utilizing and compatible with the existing addressable fire alarm panel - Fire Lite MS-9050 UD and new required fire alarm devices throughout the building.

•2)     
Provide new smoke alarms in the sleeping rooms, smoke detectors in the corridors, in the storage rooms and in the electrical room/closets. Provide heat detectors in mechanical rooms. Provide audio/visual devices as required by the latest edition of NFPA 101 and 72, with audio/visual devices in the public toilet/shower rooms, laundry room and lounges. Provide duct detectors as needed.

Remove all abandoned devices.

•4)     
The new installation shall meet the requirements of the latest edition of NFPA 72, including complete testing and documentation as outlined. A one year service and maintenance contract for testing, inspection and documentation in accordance with NFPA 72 shall be included along with a one year warranty period, and options for renewal for five years after the warranty period expires.

•5)     
Provide set of drawing in two submissions (50% and 100%) and as-built drawings.

•6)     
Existing devices - Six (6) manual (pull) stations, Sixty-six (66) photoelectric detectors, Five (5) thermal detectors, and Four (4) bells.

•7)     
Old smoke detectors are to be returned to Center staff. Recycling of the smoke detectors will be the responsibility of the Center.
