The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Logistics Center, Small Boat Product Line, is seeking qualified sources that can provide various Freeman Marine Hatches and Doors, including and not limited to the 24x36 Metal Door, 24x40 Metal Door, 28x54 Metal Door, used on the USCG 24’ SPC-SW boat, USCG 49’ BUSL boat, USCG 47’ MLB boat, and USCG 26’ TANB boat. All parts supplied must be genuine OEM parts – no substitutes or aftermarket parts shall be accepted. All parts shall be preserved, packaged and marked in accordance with Coast Guard specifications. This is being solicited as a total small business set aside. It is the Government’s belief that only Freeman Marine, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), or their authorized distributors possess the required capabilities to manufacture these parts to ensure compatibility and interchangeability with existing equipment, therefore it is the Government’s intent to solicit only Freeman Marine and/or their authorized distributors. However, sources having the expertise and required capabilities to provide this equipment can submit their capabilities to this office within 15 calendar days from the date of this notice. Data submitted must include, (1) Complete and current technical and engineering data to demonstrate offeror capabilities, (i.e., salient physical, functional and performance characteristics), and/or, (2) Data that the offered equipment has been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government, or the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The information submitted must include sufficient information to evaluate offeror capabilities. The Government does not intend to pay for information solicited.
