The Chemical Safety brand name is required for the renewal of this software licensing, maintenance, and support requirement for continued support of chemical and waste tracking. NETL made a significant life-cycle investment in the Chemical Safety brand software by acquiring this software and services in 2019 and implementing the new solution through incremental updates through the present date. Competing the brand would be detrimental for NETL as an option from both a cost or technical aspect as federal and contract resources are now trained in this technology. Moving away from Chemical Safety is not part of the current NETL technical architecture plan. The license maintenance and support for Chemical Safety’s EMS software can only be fulfilled by Chemical Safety
