Description

This announcement serves as notice to all potential offerors that the US Air Force, 48th Fighter Wing, 48th Contracting Squadron, RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom (UK) anticipates the release of a formal Request for Quotations (RFQ) under solicitation number FA5587-14-R-0005 for custodial/janitorial contractor support services in-support of the US Department of Defense Dependent Schools (DoDDS) UK. The 48th Contracting Squadron intend to post the RFQ on or around 9 December 2014. The services will be performed at various DoDDS facilities located throughout Southern and Southeastern UK, at locations specified by the attached PWS that include RAF Lakenheath, RAF Feltwell, RAF Alconbury and RAF Croughton. The associated square footage of facilities, cleaning frequencies, and associated levels of services are outlined by the attached "DRAFT"-copy of the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor shall provide all management, tools, materials, supervision, supplies, equipment, transportation and labor necessary to ensure that custodial services are performed in accordance with the requirements contained in the attached "DRAFT" PWS, in maintaining satisfactory facility conditions that present a sanitary, clean, neat and professional appearance.

The duration of the anticipated contract is prescribed as one (1) base year plus four (4) one year option periods from 01 July 2015 through 30 June 2020.

The anticipated forthcoming solicitation will require vendors who wish to tender to propose prices as "Firm-fixed-Priced"; whereby such proposed pricing will not be subject to adjustment, revision, and/or negotiation during the US Government's evaluation process leading to a subsequent contract award decision. This will be issued under full and open competition with no set aside.
