This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.

Solicitation number HSCG80-11-Q-P45EW2 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). HSCG80-11-Q-P45EW2 and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-52. This requirement is being solicited as a Total Small Business Set-aside using Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR Subpart 13. The Small Business Size Standard for NAICS 336611 is less than 1,000 employees. This requirement is for a firm-fixed price contract. The anticipated award date is on or about July 29, 2011. Work covered by this solicitation shall be completed within twenty (20) calendar days from the date the vessel becomes available to the contractor. Work is scheduled to start on August 24, 2011 and end on September 12, 2011. The Place of Performance will be located at USCG ISC Key West, 100 Trumbo Point Road, Key West, FL 33040. The vessel will not be available; however, it is encouraged to visit a similar "B" class cutter. The government intends to award from this solicitation to the responsible vendor whose quote conforming to the solicitation provides the best value.

ALL CONTRACTORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING THE RECEIPT OF THEIR QUOTES/PROPOSALS.

Each quoter shall furnish the information required by the solicitation. Quoter shall provide their DUNS number with their quote.
