Amendment #1 was issued for the following purpose:

1. Remove Rev-0 specification package and replace with new Rev-1 specification package dated 18 February 2011.  (End of Amendment #1)

 
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number HSCG80-11-Q-P45U40 is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). HSCG80-11-Q-P45U40 and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-47. This requirement is being solicited as a Total Small Business Set-aside using Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR Subpart 13. The Small Business Size Standard for NAICS Code 336611 is 1000 employees. A Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order for the base items is anticipated.

The acquisition is for DOCKSIDE repairs to the USCGC BLACKFIN (WPB-87317). The place of performance will be at USCG Sector Los Angeles/ Long Beach, 1001Seaside Ave., San Pedro, CA 90731. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, material, equipment and such other things as are necessary, except as otherwise specified, to perform dockside repairs and alterations to the vessel, in accordance with this solicitation and attached USCGC BLACKFIN (87137) 87 Foot Coastal Patrol Boat Specification for Dockside Repairs 2011 dated February 18, 2011, Rev-1.

The Period of Performance is Thirty-Two (32) calendar days beginning 05 April through 06 May 2011.
