All work will be performed onboard the vessel at USCG Sector, 600 8th Ave SE St Petersburg, Fl 33701. The performance period will be FIFTY-EIGHT (58) calendar days with a start date on or about 11 Jan 2012 to 09 MAR 2012.
The scope of the acquisition is for the overhauling, cleaning and repairing of various items aboard the USCGC FARALLON (WPB-1301) 110-FOOT PATROL BOAT. This work will include, but is not limited to:
1. Tanks (MP Fuel Service), Clean and Inspect
2. Tanks (MP Fuel Stowage and Overflow), Clean and Inspect
3. Tanks (Dirty Oil and Waste), Clean and Inspect
4. Critical Meters, Test and Calibrate
5. Critical Gauges and Thermometers, Test and Calibrate
6. Sewage Holding Tanks, Clean and Inspect
7. Temporary Services, Provide
8. Watertight Doors and Scuttles (Internal, DC Deck and Below), Renew
9. Watertight Doors and Scuttles (External), Renew
10. Deck Covering (Wet/Dry), Seal
11. Electro-Hydraulic Crane, Renew
12. Ships Magazine, Preserve
13. Sewage Piping, Clean, Flush, Renew Valves
14. Grey Water Holding Tanks, Clean and Inspect
15. Aluminum Superstructure Repairs
16. Hull and Structural Plating Repairs-Crack (Aluminum)
17. Aluminum Hull and Structural Repairs - 1/8" Plate
18. Deck Plating, Renew (Aluminum)
19. Decks - Exterior, Preserve ("Non-Skid Broadcast Grit" System)
All welding and brazing shall be accomplished by trained welders who have been certified by the applicable regulatory code performance qualification procedures.
