The Department of Corrections (DOC) requests Bids for the purchase of milking parlor chemicals, and the milking parlor system maintenance and repairs for the Waupun State Farm on behalf of the Bureau of Correctional Enterprises (BCE). DOC intends to use the results of this process to award a Contract. DOC reserves the right to also use this contract for the repair and or replacement of malfunctioning/ antiquated equipment parts. The DOC does not guarantee the purchase any specific quantity, or to pay any minimum Contract price during the term of the Contract. The Waupun State Farm is located at W6199 State Rd 49, Waupun, WI 53963. The Waupun State Farm operates a milking operation which provides dairy products to DOC institutions in addition to providing training and work experience to PIOC. This RFB will establish a contract for the purchase of milking parlor system maintenance, chemicals, and supplies for the Boumatic Milking Parlor System. The current Boumatic Milking Parlor System was installed in 1992 and has the capacity to handle 400 cows per milking session. It is a double 10 herringbone design with automatic take off and detachers.
