In general, this project is to rebuild a domestic water pressure booster system by reconstructing and replacing components of the system. No work may occur when the building is occupied between 6:00am and 5:00pm Monday through Friday. A schematic showing the parts to be replaced as well as the system’s original submittal and cut sheet are attached as Appendix E. The work consists of, but is not limited to the following: 1. Replacing two 1-1/2” Model 1531 B&G pumps with stainless steel impellers and 460/3ph/60hz 7-1/2hp motors; 2. Replacing a single 2-1/2” Model 1531 B&G pump with stainless steel impeller and 460v/3ph/60hz 15hp motor; 3. Replacing two 2” CLA pressure reducing check valves; 4. Rebuilding a single 4” CLA pressure reducing check valve; 5. Replacing a ½” port thermal relief valve; 6. Replacing an aquastat, and well; 7. Chlorine swab sanitizing all domestic water parts prior to assembly, and; 8. Pressure testing and startup.
