SWEET HOME FIRE AND AMBULANCE DISTRICTDISTRICT'S FIRE STATION 22 SEISMIC RETROFIT PROJECT NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Sweet Home Fire and Ambulance District (District) will hold a joint public hearing of its Board and its Local Contract Review Board regarding use of a Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation for a Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) alternative contracting method for construction and installation of the District's Fire Station 22 Seismic Retrofit Project (Project). The Project entails the design and subsequent reconstruction of Fire Station 22 in Foster, Oregon. The hearing will be held on the 5th day of June, at 6 p.m., at the Sweet Home Fire & Ambulance District Office located at 1099 Long Street in Sweet Home Oregon. The District will receive public comment on the Board's draft findings supporting this alternative contracting method and exemption from competitive bidding requirements.
