This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101 requiring the dissemination of information for proposed contract actions. This is not a solicitation or request for quotes or proposals and no contract or purchase order will be awarded from this notice. The Regional Contracting Center-Capital intends to issue a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract to support the requirement for 472 K998EB Disruptor Kits. For this proposed contract action, the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 6.302-1.  Delivery will be to Kabul, Afghanistan. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 325920 with a Size Standard of 750 employees. The solicitation shall be issued on or around 28 May 2016. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
