The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Center for Environmental Health (NCEH), Division of Laboratory Science, intends to award a sole source contract to Cambridge Isotope Laboratories, Inc., 50 Frontage Road, Andover, MA 01810 for the purchase of Identical custom formulated 13C-labeled isotope-dilution calibration standards, spiking solutions and diuents for the ultra-trace level analysis of the toxic compounds. The statutory authority for this sole source acquisition is 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1- only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirement. The NAICS code for this procurement is 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing. The date of delivery for this procurement is 30-60 days after award of contract.The purpose of this procurement is for Cambridge Isotope Laboratories, Inc. to purchase of custom formulations of chemical standard mixtures, such as Polychlorinated Dioxins; Polychlorinated Furans; Polybrominated Dioxins and Furans; Coplanar Polychlorinated Biphenyls; Ortho-Substitued Polychlorinated Biphenyls; Chlorinated Pesticides and Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers.
Cambridge Isotope Laboratories, Inc. is the only responsible source capable of meeting all of the Government's requirement.
